Ingredients
Dry Goods
- 1/2-1 cup wheat chex
- 1/2-1 cup corn chex
- 1/2-1 cup rice chex
- 1 cup cheerios
- 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
- 1/2-1 cup mixed nuts
- 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsps pumpkin spice
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 3/4 tsp salt
Sticky Stuff
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
Fruit
- 1/2 cup craisins
- 1/4 cup dried blueberries
Instructions
Heat oven to 325°F
Mix all the stuff in the first list together in a large bowl. Set aside.
Melt the butter, honey, brown sugar, and salt over medium heat. Bring it to a low boil for a few secs, then remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla.
Pour the sticky mixture over the dry goods and stir until it’s coated. Plop the whole mixture onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Spread it evenly and bake for 20 minutes. Add dried fruits, mix, spread evenly, and pop it back in the oven for an additional 10 minutes.
Slide parchment paper off pan and onto counter to cool. It will harden as it cools, and then you won’t be able to resist much longer.
